Southern Earth Sciences provided geotechnical engineering, pavement evaluations, and construction materials testing and inspections from the earliest site work through completion for this $46.1 million investment by Orange Beach City Schools. The new complex features a 2,500-seat football stadium, competition gymnasium, field house, and covered practice facility. The project site once housed a former wastewater treatment plant, requiring our team to oversee deep undercutting—up to 20 feet in some areas—and replacement with quality structural fill to ensure the new facilities were built on solid ground.
