Danny Hines is our Field Investigations Manager for our Mobile branch. Mr. Hines is an Engineer Intern with extensive experience in the areas of drilling and sampling, subsurface investigation, and project management. Mr. Hines has experience drilling with various types of drilling rigs, CME, Diedrich, BK-51, BK-66 and SIMCO 4000 including track-mounted, truck and trailer-mounted rigs. Additionally, he can operate any of our Cone Penetration rigs. His sampling experience includes SPT sediment sampling, rock coring, Denison Piston samplers and Shelby Tubes using mud rotary, flight auger, hollow stem auger, wash boring, and vibracore drilling methods. Mr. Hines also has experience with jack-up and spud barge sampling over water and marsh buggy on wetland and marshy areas; as well as instrumentation installation experience with pipe piezometers, vibrating wire piezometers, slope indicator, anchor settlement points, settlement plates, monitoring wells, vapor wells and water wells.
