From our humble beginnings in 1976, Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. has continued to grow because of a willingness to tackle difficult problems, a strong reputation, professional competence and aggressive leadership.

Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. is a leader in providing quality, value and innovative solutions to geotechnical, construction materials testing and environmental problems. We currently offer a comprehensive service program through eight Gulf Coast offices located in the southeastern states of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Over the past 30 years SESI has grown to employ over 150 people who have collectively participated in over 15,000 geotechnical engineering, construction testing and environmental projects throughout the southeastern United States, ranging in size from single-story structures to multi-million dollar facilities.

In 2001, SESI expanded our geotechnical and environmental field testing capabilities by purchasing a 20-ton electronic cone penetrometer (CPT) rig. As a state-of-the-art exploration tool, the cone penetrometer provides SESI with a resource to service clients in a sophisticated and timely fashion.
