Mr. Varner serves as an Executive Vice-President of Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. and has over 35 years experience in geotechnical engineering in Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Varner has completed over 15,000 geotechnical projects in the Florida Panhandle area including private residential, high rise condominiums, infrastructure projects, and forensic services for private, municipal and military clientele.

Mr. Varner is a Licensed Asbestos Consultant with over 2000 projects including surveys, O & M plans, and abatement design for private, municipal and school districts. Mr. Varner is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida and Alabama, and is a member of ASTM.
