Mr. McGowan is the Louisiana Regional Vice President for SESI. He assists all Louisiana offices and is the General Manager over CMT services for the Baton Rouge office. He began his career with Delta Testing in June of 1964 as a part-time employee. Upon graduating from LSU in 1972 (B.A. in Business Administration), McGowan joined Delta Testing on a full-time basis. Over the years he has served as a manager, Vice-President and CEO of Delta Testing. Delta Testing merged with Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. in 2006 and McGowan became the Manager of the Baton Rouge CMT office for SESI, and became a regional vice president in 2006.

Mr. McGowan was an instructor in the CE department at LSU in Highway Materials Testing from 1979 to 2001. He is a member of ACIL (Board Member in the Civil Engineering Section), ACI, ASTM, Baton Rouge Advisory Board, LA High School Athletic Association, MBS Catholic Church Men’s Club, Eucharistic Member, Sertoma Club, Greystone Country Club Men’s Golf Association, CSI and Krewe of Endemion.
